Cameron Highlands Trip 05 – Exciting Morning

I woke up at 6am in the morning today because the frostly wind is freezing me!!! Now I really feel what those people who are staying at the temperate and artic region feel – stay in bed and turn the heater to MAX!!! Brrr it feels like winter over at Cameron Highlands in the morning. Mom somewhat forced me to get out of bed. I felt that I was really torturing myself to wash my face with icy cold tap water that wakes you up instantly! Thank God the shower facility in our rented aparment is heated, or not we’ll simply die of freezing! :)

After that we have breakfast, served with steamed buns from Penang (called mee-khoo) that taste great when you eat it during cold weather. Lol, warm food taste great in cold places while ice-cream taste wonderful in the Sahara. ;)

Breakfast time!

After haivng breakfast, we departed for Boh Tea Plantation located a few kilometers away from Brinchang. It took us 30 minutes to reach there. In fact, we expected the road to the Boh Tea plantation to be smooth, non-bumpy and wide, but things turned the other way around when we reach the entrace – the road was SO NARROW that ONLY A CAR can pass through AT A TIME!!!!!! *Only at some places 2 cars can barely get thorugh*

So narrow!

The tea plantation is located far inside the mountain, and you can’t see it from Brinchang. We’ll need to travel deep inside the take a glimpse of the enourmous tea farm (largest in Malaysia). Although there is a bus service from Brinchang to the Tea Farm at a rate of RM$8 per person, my uncle and dad decided to drive there instead.

Thank God along the 20-minute drive on the super-narrow road we didn’t meet any opposing traffic, or not we’ll ram against the mountain side or plunge down the valley… *phew*

The car is just inches away from the cliff!!!!!!!!

Whole mountain of tea plantation… woah!

After 20 minutes of heart wreching journey, we finally reached the Boh Tea Plantation Visitor Centre! Yahoo! :D

Shadows.

After having tea at the cafeteria, we left the Boh Tea Plantation Visitor Centre at 1pm. However, we are not very lucky on the way back this time. While happily crusing through the narrow road, we saw opposing traffic approaching ahead! Omigosh, we are worrying that the narrow road could not allow 2 cars to go pass each other. So the only thing we can do is to reverse to a spot where 2 cars and barely get pas each other.

Uhoh…

Hello Easter Egg hunter! You've discovered the magic of the Konami Code!

Yea. You probably know what the Konami code is before getting to this page. So now what? Here is a randomised YouTube video on my favourites list... which includes Rickroll, if you're luck enough to get it.

You are currently watching How to get up, eat breakfast and get ready for work in 5 minutes!. Loving it? You can even watch the video in its full screen glory :)
