When I still felt a degree of nostalgia towards my high school, I would go back there during uni holidays constantly equipped with a camera. The fairytale has ended for me, however, since a lot of the construction that has taken place within the campus has made the place completely unlike the way I remember it. I know it sounds super sentimental, but I have felt no incentive to go back there lately.

Now that uni is over, it has been a while since I revisited my uni campus, and I sometimes wonder if it'll elicit the same feelings as I used to feel with my high school.

Wonderful photos, btw! =)

No problem! I'm honoured you dropped by to leave a comment (two, actually). You still blast bad at them eh? :) Finally they're getting a taste of you. You do make a really good geography teacher! I learned so much back in secondary school, heh.

Hmmmm the way you blast at people. The essence of it is be loud and make sure everyone in the block can hear you :)

Nah! I was just being my nostalgic self :) to think of it, I regretted not enjoying secondary school and college lives. When my seniors, parents and other adults told me to enjoy as much as I could, I brushed off their comments and scoffed at them. Haha!

Oh, I don't usually tell people where I come from because people will either go (1) omg you're damn smart or (2) you must be a mega nerd. I'm neither of them :P

Don't be jealous. You guys are not missing out anything. Those fancy stuff you see are merely enhancements, constructed because of 'wants' and not 'needs'. It doesn't matter whether one uses a shabby classroom or a state-of-the-art seminar room to conduct lessons, afterall :)

You totally scared the daylight out of me - given that the photo is actually taken from the lobby of Hall C, the female-only hall and I thought I captured something that I shouldn't be capturing on screen.

You miss HCIBS eh? I miss it too... except for the food.

Hi Terry
I read your blog. Thank you for the kind compliments. I still blast at bad students. Now you can hear my blasting at HCIS. Really like it better there because the work is more challenging. The students there need a Geography teacher badly and I fit the bill to the T. I still haunt you huh. So what did I do to haunt you still. Teach me so I can do it to those students in HCIS. Hahaha.

I thought this sounds like a very emotionally post before I started reading. :)

Anyway, I didn't know you were from Hwa Chong! It seems like I only discovered more of my friends had been studying there after knowing them for some time. :( The top student from my University now is also from Hwa Chong. *stress*

The boarding school look gorgeous by the way, just like a private condominium. I'm always envious of how "privileged" students from famous school are. They tend to have the best environment and facilities. I have to admit, even their uniforms are better looking. Neighbourhood schools are a totally different world. But then again, I guess it's understandable. I'm not complaining about neighbourhood schools though. I love mine because it's small and cosy! :P
