Hello there. I am Terry and I am a full-time undergraduate based in Singapore. I take photos, write a blog and design websites.

And no, I'm not a teddy bear.

Floating Platform Panorama

Ah, here’s a filler post while I get my things straightened out in the real life. School has never been that busy for me for a long time since graduating from junior college – suddenly I find myself in the middle of the onslaught of multiple deadlines piling up in the weeks ahead. I’m going under!

Anyway, as what the title of the post tells you, here is a 180 degree panorama I have stitched out of a handful of photos taken at the Floating Platform on Marina Bay, Singapore, during one of the outing two weeks ago. The one you see here is the resized version – click on it to reveal the larger panorama in the modified lightbox. Yea, I spent a great deal of time a few nights back hacking and modding the Lightbox 2 plugin to make it panorama-friendly, heh.

Anyway, I recevied a lovely postcard from Trina a few days ago! I was so thrilled because this is the first time I’m getting a letter mailed to me from overseas *bounces around* I promise I will give it a good write-up when I’m done with my deadlines :) and I’m very amazed that after travelling half the globe and probably through many hands, storage boxes and containers, nothing was smeared on the postcard and it’s still looking great!

Hi Teddy!! How are you?? How have you been?? It’s been a while, but I’m backie!! Your Panoramic stitch is BEAUTIFUL. Might I say the color is beautiful and it stands out greatly :) I never cease to be amazed by your photos!

Anyways, was wondering if you can update or re-add my link? I used to be Destiny at everdestiny.com :)

    Can I also re-add you?

Excellent panorama, Teddy! I have such a difficult taking those. But then again.. I’ve tried a few times without a tripod — clearly not that smart of an idea! hehe I must go out and try to make my own sometime. How many photos did it take to create this one, btw!?

Oh and I’m just soo happy that my postcard made it to you safe & sound. :) I will definitely be sending others in the near future, you can count on that.

Wow, just… wow! Awesome panorama from a great location! Surely that pitch should feature in a Nike football ad?

That panorama makes me miss living in Singapore. How an earth did you get all the way up the bleachers? I had no idea that you can go into the premises to take photos! Had I known, I would have done so before I moved away!

Hello Easter Egg hunter! You've discovered the magic of the Konami Code!

Yea. You probably know what the Konami code is before getting to this page. So now what? Here is a randomised YouTube video on my favourites list... which includes Rickroll, if you're luck enough to get it.

You are currently watching Kutiman-Thru-you - 01 - Mother of All Funk Chords. Loving it? You can even watch the video in its full screen glory :)
