I hope you've enjoyed reading the entry :) actually, I had a lot of fun penning it as well because it forces me to recollect and remember what happened on that day, so that the whole experience is more deeply embedded in my memories. I have also 'digitized' the experience in the form of a blog entry, too! Oh, we had a great time - I realize that if I went there myself it wouldn't have been as fun as we went as a group of 43. There's just so much dynamics among the participants and we had a great time sharing and learning. You don't need to have a huge group to organize an outing - you could enlist a few close friends for a short outing (like Saturday morning for a photoshoot downtown), and then for the next outing maybe they'll invite their friends along too :) starting it will be not easy but once you've got the spark in there, it's easy to keep it going. Ah, caucasian... it's a word I don't really like to use, as much as I call a person Asian or African. It introduces this ethnicity thing into people, but I regretted not asking the couple where they came from - and I could have ended up with a side story to write :) teehee! We didn't dare to venture it! It is rather dark inside and we were kind of spooked out. And we had another place to go so we just left it in a hurry after taking a few photos, hehe. I so wish I could go on a trip like this some day. :) I work with a few people who enjoy photography as well so maybe I can mention something like this to them! That would be so much fun.
