Dainis from 1st Web Designer compiled a list of 65 popular and professional free fonts that you will find very useful for creative typography. He actually did compile a widly popular list of 52 free fonts back then, driven by popular demand he released another free fonts collection. While the fonts are absolutely free for personal use, do check the license released alongside with each single font you have downloaded if you are using them for commercial purposes (e.g. using them in a project that you will get paid for).

Fonty Friday - Philosopher
One of my personal favourites will be Philosopher – the smooth, stylish serifs are simply too irresistable!

Terry Mun (Teddy)
I'm relatively new to the design world - only to start learning HTML in secondary school and then moving on to (X)HTML and CSS in college. Since then I have been hand-coding my designs using notepad, alongside with the amazing help from Firebug. I embrace photography as a personal persuit during my free time, and I prefer spending the rest of it doing meaningless quizzes on Facebook and destroying the world (in Rampage World Tour, that is).

Dude, I read almost all your postings via RSS. I never noticed the change in theme. This is probably the slickest theme you have every created.
ps: Wanna start selling WP-theme?
terry, thanks for this post, now i have a bunch of free fonts to be used with @font-face hehe :D
@NoktahHitam: Oh it’s okay! At least you’re reading! It has been some time since I last read your blog though *weak smiles* haha. Thanks for the compliments! With regards to selling WordPress themes, I’m not very sure about it because I’m not good with PHP. What I think I can only do is to develop child themes for a WP framework, heh.
@xun: You’re welcome! I realized that I have never heard of at least half of them. Isn’t @font-face still having patchy support from different browsers?
Don’t worry about the PHP so much. It’s more about designs. It’s very tough to acquire an artistic taste like yours (photography+themes, seriously, it’s AHMAZING!). You can just develop the PSD, I can help with the rest ;)
Awesome. Thanks, Teddy! I was in need of new fonts. :) I must have downloaded half of them! hehe
