I am quite inpressed with your pictures!! I was just browsing around for pictures obn terminal 3 and I chanced upon yr album.

I am from European Profiles Malaysia which has a small branch in singpaore. We were involved in the construction of the terminal which has since been completed .

I was wondering if you have any pictures on the outside of the airport. We were not allowed to take any pictures when the project was on going. And now we required a picture for our records .

I have been wanting to go down to take it but this has been put off due to my work schedule. I would be very grateful if you any that you can share with me.

Thanks!!

A friend passed through T3 this morning (31 Jan 2010) on her way from Bangladesh to Seattle and whilst there sent me an email saying to look up the airport on the net. I was most interested and impressed by your photo-essay. Thanks!

I don't think you'll have to pay for anything - afterall, it is a public area and so no payment is required for a photoshoot. However, if you're intending to gain access to the transit area, you might want to contact the management for more details.

ophelia: Thanks for your comment! I could I mind you dropping by? I would be delighted to have someone leaving a comment :)

Jack | SQ: Hey Jack, it has been a long time since I've seen you, glad that you're back. Actually Terminal 3 is part of the construction plan of Changi Airport formulated in the 1970s/80s, just that after so many years there comes the need for the third phase (if the airport doesn't reach full capacity Singapore wouldn't even consider building it, I think)... anyway the terminal also includes 4 airbus A380 friendly ports :D now that's great design.

eddy: T3 is really great isn't it? Thanks for the compliment btw!

Hey Ted,

Happy New Year first of all :) Hehe, wowwwwww, I'm truly impressed with the new T3, Changi Airport is definitely staying on top as being the preferred hub in south east Asia and beyond despite being a somewhat 'old' airport. KLIA should really hide their 'world's best airport awards' and learn to eat humble-pie. Lol. Despite hearing news about the extention of the current satellite building and retail area, no progress has been made. Sad la. See how fast and efficient Spore reacts. I really can't wait to try out the A380 and visit T3. Haha. All the best to you over there. Majulah Teddy and not forgetting Singapura :P

medca: Hey glad to see you around :D thanks for the compliment! haha you're always my supernice cousin!

lawrence: Yea and I read about you have too many photos to post so you need to exclude some of them :) quite natural for avid photographers who arrive at T3 because it's so gorgeous that we just keep snapping away! My SD card was filled when I was only halfway through the tour, and I had to delete photos desperately, haha! Nah I'm not actually really good in those... I used a few really good blog designs as reference, and with the help of the magical coffee, a HTML and CSS guidebook, and I'm ready  heh! My camera is actually a lousy one - a consumer grade camera, Pentax Optio S55 or something... you're welcome! I frequently read the blogs that are linked, so no worries!

Melissa: Hey there our princess  it's okay, everyone needs some time off blogging right? Changi Airport T3 is one architectual marvel so obviously it looks real good in every photo (not mine only... everyone's!) the designer of the airport took into account nature into his masterplan so yep they have REAL trees and flowers inside the terminal, as well as the living, breathing green wall. You can stay there! There's this airport hotel which will be opened next year ;)

Ivy: Hey! Glad to see you around! I kind of miss you! Nevermind, you can always visit T3. The unique thing about the whole openhouse thing is that you don't need air tickets to enter the transit mall, and that's all! When next time you take a flight back to Singapore, you can just use the Skytrains to travel to the transit area of T3 and do some shopping (they have Fendi, Sony, Apple, Charles and Keith...)
