Hello there. I am Terry and I am a full-time undergraduate based in Singapore. I take photos, write a blog and design websites.

And no, I'm not a teddy bear.

Revival. Almost.

2 more papers to go! Woots  anyway this blog is on its way to revival (since the poor author is almost done with the nightmarish A levels!) so yep do lookout for more frequent updates from next week onwards! The last paper will be on 22nd November. Geez, I really don’t quite get it why did the examination board wanted to place biology paper one 2 loooong days after paper 3.

Things are starting to get exciting. Mind you, I’m not talking about the A levels (gosh, who would get exicted when exams are mentioned for chrissake?), but rather my holiday plans! After much persuading (and nagging as well) Wahtoon finalised their holiday plans, and whoopee they’re coming to Malaysia! Can anything be better than having your classmates touring your homecountry with you during your last holiday together? it’s still kinda tentative, but most of the wrinkles are already ironed out. 4 guys are going, with one more still waiting for the green light from his parents. And their visit is directly after my trip to Genting Highlands with my uncle’s family and grandparents… can anything be more divine than this? Hell no :)

U2 - City of Blinding LightsBefore I start to ramble off to eternity, here’s a song for you. It’s City of Blinding Lights by U2. It’s a really nice song, and it is especially touching to know that U2 was inspired to compose this song after performing for the New Yorkers after the 911 attack, where they saw tears streaming down their fans’ eyes. The song is 3mb, I’ve downsampled it a little to speed things up. Anyway, the same instruction applies – if you’ve having a slow Internet connection, hit the play button and pause the song again so that you’ll wait for the song to be downloaded completely. Enjoy!

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Free RiceI’m hooked up to this game lately called FreeRice. It’s a really meaningful website, because you get to improve your English and at the same time help to solve world hunger. This is how the game works – for every one word that you’ve gotten it right (they ask for nearst syncronyms for the word given), FreeRice will donate 10 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). So if you can 100 words correct then they’ll donate 1,000 grains of rice, it’s as simple as that. You won’t be penalised for getting the wrong answers (if they really do, then this game is the biggest farce ever), so just keep on trying while expanding your vocabulary  it’s a win-win situation – you get to feed the hungry people and fix your language ills.

In case you don’t know I’ve been FaceBooking for quite some time, since a few days after my birthday (if you still don’t know when the hell I joined because you don’t know my birthday, then go knock your head against the wall  lol!) I realised that I’m 18+ and is eligible to have an account. Wheee! Besides the oh-so-famous Superpoking fun, adrenaline-pumping Fighter’s Club and random scribbling on people’s Walls, you get to nominate people for even the weirdest categories under Superlatives. Here are some weird nominations I’ve got:

  • Richard thinks that I’m Most Likely To Die a Virgin
  • Nicholas Yong thinks that I’m Most Likely To Pee in the Community Swimming Pool
  • Karen thinks that I’m Most Likely To Shower Naked (who the hell showers with clothes on?)

This is one fun programme! Anyway if you haven’t add me on Facebook just try searching for me, and if you run out of luck, drop me an email (go to Contacts page) so I’ll add you :)

Byeee!

Your name is required. Why?

  • So that I can address you personally (which I'm more than happy to do).
  • Everyone loves their name to be called, right? Nobody wants to be referred to as 'a certain someone' or Mr X (X-Men members aside).
  • If your post too much spam, your name will be imprinted on a personalised voodoo doll, completely free of charge. I'm just joking!

Your email is needed. Why?

  • Your email is, and will, never be given out to any third party under any conditions (except for people sneaking up behind me when I'm on WP admin).
  • So that I can contact you personally in case of certain issues that I wish to address personally.
  • If you post too much spam, I'll email the same spam you've posted 10 times back to you, completely free of charge.

You can always leave a personal URL behind

  • It can be anything - most people put their blog URL, their facebook page, their Twitter URL, their MySpace or etc.
  • I give love back by saying NO to no-follow. All of your webbie links are dofollows instead.

Twitter. Twitter. Twitter.

  • What is Twitter?: Twitter is a social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 bytes in length.
  • What is my Twitter ID?: To get a Twitter ID, you simply have to sign up for an account at Twitter.com. Your ID will be in the format of your profile's URL - http://twitter.com/[userid].

Hello Easter Egg hunter! You've discovered the magic of the Konami Code!

Yea. You probably know what the Konami code is before getting to this page. So now what? Here is a randomised YouTube video on my favourites list... which includes Rickroll, if you're luck enough to get it.

You are currently watching Hilarious Budweiser Commercial. Loving it? You can even watch the video in its full screen glory :)
