Hello there. I am Terry and I am a full-time undergraduate based in Singapore. I take photos, write a blog and design websites.

And no, I'm not a teddy bear.

I’m Writing

As the Preliminary examinations (I’ll call it “Prelims” from now on) approach, an unusual peaceful feeling overwhelms me. This is really weird but this is not the first time such feeling has struck me. Hmmmm. Maybe it’s some inbuilt mechanism to prevent me from getting crazy because of all the stress and etc.

Neon Genesis EvangelionMy roomate is completely crazy over the classic anime series called Neon Genesis Evangelion. He watched the entire thing (26 episodes plus the final concluding episode – which is a movie) in ONE DAMN DAY, and I watched part of the anime with him. I must say that it’s a really dark kind of anime, especially when you approach the later episodes where there are much bloodshed and violence. But the anime is quite meaningful and insightful since it explores the unusual human interaction between its few major characters, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the creator’s vision of the apocalyptic future (which is very similar to many sci-fi films created in recent years), considering that the anime was created in 1995-1996.

Yesterday and today I went back to school for consultation sessions (along with my groupmates :D Yuting, Ck and Reihorng), which were actually make me realise that there are lots of things to for me to study. Gah, but at least they tell me in advance what am I lacking so I can make up for it before the Prelim starts. Played basketball with them after consultation session yesterday until 6pm, and the game was actually very fun  today it rained, so in the end we didn’t do anything after that. Anyway today’s Bio consultation left us to exhausted even our teacher nearly fell asleep. Haha! During one long break during the session we went to Fishtank to catch some fresh air. I can’t believe I feel for a stupid prank that Ck and Reihorng set up! They dare me to enter the guys toilet’s second cubicle (with a spoilt lock), claiming that there’s “something inside”… and when I tried to open the door there’s a person inside! So that person is the “something” that is inside the cubicle huh. Thank God he didn’t see my face, or I would’ve been murdered and buried six feet under his backyard.

This post is surely veyr boring, so I’ve taken the liberty to include a panorama I’ve created yesterday. It shows a storm front approaching the area where I live at night… isn’t it cool?

Storm Front

Have a nice day everyone! I’m taking my GP paper on Thursday, so most probably I’ll update this blog after that :) see ya!

Your name is required. Why?

  • So that I can address you personally (which I'm more than happy to do).

  • If your post too much spam, your name will be imprinted on a personalised voodoo doll, completely free of charge. I'm just joking!

Your email is needed. Why?

Hello Easter Egg hunter! You've discovered the magic of the Konami Code!

Yea. You probably know what the Konami code is before getting to this page. So now what? Here is a randomised YouTube video on my favourites list... which includes Rickroll, if you're luck enough to get it.

You are currently watching Goma Mugi Cha - Tea for those with high blood pressure. Loving it? You can even watch the video in its full screen glory :)
