This blog is not on hiatus although teddY was silent for the past 5 days or so. Sorry for the delay in the update because the past week was simply full of craziness!
1. Photos!
I was busy filing the entire pile of documents I've accumulated for like 400+ days since last year :D I had fun filing because I get to see a neat and tidy bookshelf… finally!
It was a breezy Friday morning today! What a lovely sunrise eh? Hehe! I slept pretty early yesterday night so I managed to get up early enough to enjoy the sunrise!

I played around with photoshop a few days ago and got this really cool effect by tweaking the colour balance, adding textures and overlaying them as well as rendering some fibres on another layer to create this lovely look.
2. Made A New Friend:
I've just made a new friend this week! His name is… well, protected, so I shall name his Fuzzy*. I knew Fuzzy one year ago but I didn't really got the chance to talk to him because well we don't share a common interest (as far as I know) and we were in different cliques. To be more exact, I was sort of a loner and he got his friends, so we don't really talk to each other unless it is really necessary.
For the past few days I started to talk to him and surprisingly he's got things to say to me too! And we started to get together and be friends :D yippe! I was so happy! I decided to write a letter to him and pass it to him yesterday but sadly he left school already. Hmm. Maybe I can pass to him on Monday :mrgreen:
Anyway, I just want to sincerely thank Fuzzy for giving me the chance. And yep he did brighten up my week! Thanks again Fuzzy! Let's be friends forever! Woots.
3. Got Adobe Illustrator CS2:
Mom and dad came down last weekend and I've got another addition to my photoediting and graphic designing software collection! I've got Adobe Illustrator CS2! I wanted it so badly since a few months ago but I didn't have enough money myself to purchase it. So I asked mom and dad to help me and pass it to me when they come down to Singapore to meet me. Thanks again to mom and dad!
Well once I get myself used to using Adobe Illustrator CS2 I might post tutorials of it! Anyway I've found a cool collection of such tutorials over at N-Design ! Have a look!
4. Got Tagged!
Yanni tagged me on her blog! She said in her comment that "it's payback time" since I tagged her with my evil A to Z tag last time :D haha! Okay I accept the punishment… here is the tag!
Each person who gets tagged needs to write a blog post of their own 6 idiosyncrasies as well as clearly state this rule. After you state your 6 weirdness, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their multiply id (or anything equivalent) at the bottom of your blog. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog for information as to what it means.
Weirdness#1 – I don't drink coffee. Not because I'm some crazy anti-caffiene guy but simply because it doesn't do miracles that it should do to me. Coffee can rarely keep me awake! Like for the past week when my biologicial clock was severely distrupted (I sleep once I got back from school and can't sleep for the rest of the night and go to school. Insert new date and repeat.) I tried drinking coffee in the afternoon so that I can readjust the damn clock but I still slept anyway… but then scientists recently discovered that the consumption of suitable amount of caffiene (one cup of coffee a day will do it!) will reduce your chances of getting a nasty heart disease and Alzhemeirs when you get old!
Weirdness #2 – I'm a guy and ironically I don't play Warcraft (specifically DOTA). Hmmm. I don't sound like a guy now right? Since I'm sure that 99.999% of males on earth tried to play Warcraft before. And I never did in my life. Due to my limited IQ I'm not a big fan of strategy games (so that implies I rarely play chess too!). I would rather make my imaginations go wild by playing simulation games like Simcity and The Sims :razz:
Weirdness #3 – I'm a perfectionist. Believe it or not, I can waste quite a lot of paper doing challenging assignments because too much corrections done on the paper looks ugly in my eyes and I would rather work on a new clean sheet of paper. But don't call me an environmental destructer because I use those used paper for other purposes like playing Sudoku or do my usual doodling.
Weirdness #4 – I love doodling! A doodle is a mindless sketch, an aimless drawing, while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Random thoughts are placed upon the paper during the time. Doodles can also just be sketches. I love doodling on my assignment papers because I think doodles beautify them :) and by doodling I can keep my prized imagination alive…
Weirdness #5 – I'm a guy and I do things by heart not by brain. I'm not saying that I'm lousy at logic but then I can get emotionally attached to things over time which guys don't usually do. Like old aunties I keep lots and lots of old stuff that reminds me of my past in my drawers, pin-up boards etc, and I can get really sad when reading sad articles or watching sad movies. Gee.
Weirdnress #6 – I'm lactose intolerant but yet I love milk. I like milk! Offer me anything in the morning ranging from fresh milk to chocolate-flavoured milk I will drink it happily… and get a nasty diarrhoea later in the afternoon. For some reason my stomach is a long-standing enemy of milk and so I can't afford to drink more than 1 cup of milk a day. How sad – you like something and yet you can't enjoy it!

I don’t play warcraft also. but then, i tried once. that’s it.
“I’m a perfectionist.” Me too. Which is why i hate statistics. asking perfection in graphs n so on gives a mega concentration drain, eye strain and bad mood.
Doodles are nice, i do it once in a while.
I can think and analyze things logically sometimes, then I just stick to my emotional decisions. that’s 10% of the times. 90% of the times, i just go with emotion.
I love milk, though it makes my tummy go slightly uncomfortable after that. i don’t get diarrhoea though. anyhow, milk tastes great! buy them by boxfuls. (box of cartons)
Does that mean you’re as weird as me? :mrgreen: Well but I quite like statistics. I just don’t like the way how media and the government make use of them in such a way to confuse the general population…
Yea milk is nice and good for me but I can’t drink too much! Maybe that explains my shortness. LOL.
