I LOVE McFLY!!! After watching the movie Ivan was once crazy about (titled "Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine)… I realised I fell in love with the British band McFLY whose members starred as themselves in the movie. One song which made me so addicted to (honestly speaking I'm still listening to it as I type this post) is the one titled Five Colours in Her Hair. For some unknown reason I loved this song much more than other pop songs I can find. People called songs from McFLY as nu-pop songs as they are different from contemperory boybands – the genres of their songs are greatly influenced by bands like The Raspberries, The Beatles and The Beach Boys.
The song Five Colours in Her Hair is McFLY's debut single as well as the band's first number one in UK chart. The song stood at the top of the chart for a wholly solid 2 weeks – an achievement that landed them in The Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest band to ever do so.

Basically McFLY was founded by the main vocalist Tom Fletcher and currently consists of 3 other members – Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd. Basically I like the entire band but if you ask me deep down personally I like Danny Jones the most. His voice simply rocks! :)
In McFLY, Danny Jones has co-written on all three albums, Room on the 3rd Floor, Wonderland, and Motion in the Ocean, with his fellow band members. Danny has penned 3 of his own tracks from each of the 3 albums, “Not Alone”(Room on the 3rd Floor), “Don’t know why”(Wonderland) and “Walk in the Sun”(Motion in the Ocean).

karen Q: Oh! I’ve got the same reaction like you. When I first watched the movie I thought McFly was just a fictional band… until I searched for it out of fun on the internet and realised it is true for good!
I also love McFly..ever since I saw Just my luck. The movie would have been nothning if it wasn’t for the four most beautiful guys, and voices, in the world.
