Crossing Out Text (Striking Out)

This is a reply to Jin’s answer (if you’re interested you can also read down). By the way, she has a fantastic blog and you should (MUST!) pay her a visit =)

In order to strike out the words you want, you can add the strike tags, as shown below:

Here is the strike tags look like.

If you wan to strike out a word like, erm, “Hi there!:, then you can do as below:

Here is the strike tags look like.

And graphically I will look like this:

I'm relatively new to the design world - only to start learning HTML in secondary school and then moving on to (X)HTML and CSS in college. Since then I have been hand-coding my designs using notepad, alongside with the amazing help from Firebug.
