“Please use the correct font!” This is the message I want to deliver to you in this post.
There is a picture about a shop’s banner. The shop is named ‘MEGAFLICKS’, which sells videos and other video-related stuff. However, in the picture below, looks like the shop-owner chose the wrong font for his shop’s banner:

Erm, does it read ‘MEGAF*CKS’?
It should read ‘MEGAFLICKS’, but due to the wrong font chosen, the banner looks like ‘MEGAF*CKS’.
Moral of the lesson? Please choose your font wisely and correctly, so that others don’t misinterpret the information you want to deliver.

I'm relatively new to the design world - only to start learning HTML in secondary school and then moving on to (X)HTML and CSS in college. Since then I have been hand-coding my designs using notepad, alongside with the amazing help from Firebug. I embrace photography as a personal persuit during my free time, and I prefer spending the rest of it doing meaningless quizzes on Facebook and destroying the world (in Rampage World Tour, that is).

Hm…The half right part of the banner (UCKS) looks kinda photoshopping to me. Notice that the sharpness difference compared to the half left (MEGAF).
Maybe it’s because of the lossy JPEG compression  but maybe it’s a fake. I’m not sure, I just got it from a chainmail, heh.
After scrutinizing further, it probably is – the shadows for the alphabets are different on the left and the right – the FLICKS alphabets have darker, longer shadows
I never expected an old post to get comments, lol!
