Hello there. I am Terry and I am a full-time undergraduate based in Singapore. I take photos, write a blog and design websites.

And no, I'm not a teddy bear.

My Neighbourhood

It has been quite some days I returned to my country, Malaysia. Sorry for not telling you that I am a Malaysian studying in Singapore. Anyway, I enjoy studying in Singapore.

I think it’s time to introduce you my neighbourhood. The following pictures are taken just outside my house. They are not copyrighted, so you can use it as you like (but who wants them? The photography skills is just plain lousy, right?)

This is how the scenery looks like when you look at the left side out of the porch of my house. The yellow house belongs to Auntie Yati, a widow. Her husband passed away a few years ago. The two houses on the right of Auntie Yati’s house are adjoined together in a renovation plan last year. The children now have more space to play badminton.

This is how it looks like when you look towards the right side out of my house. There is a hump there, which is reconstructed 4 to 5 years ago due to wearing. The road was resurfaced a years ago. You can (or maybe you can’t, because it’s too small) see a mosque quite far away from my house. After the hump is the old housing scheme built many years before the new housing scheme (where my house is) built.

The house directly opposite my house, with the aluminum gate, is where Auntie Margaret lives in. She has a very noisy dog, called Fido. It is stupid to such a great extent that it can bark for the whole day just because of a pigeon landing on its cage. The one that lives next to Auntie Margaret is Auntie Lee, with her door painted bright white. She also has a dog too, but much quiet than that stupid Fido.

This is my house, taken from the front door of Auntie Margaret’s house. See the red car, BEV 8206? It is the car which I’ve mentioned before in the previous post, about selling it off. The one in bright yellow shirt is my mum. Too bad she still get caught on candid camera although she tried her best to avoid me. The bay window right above the porch is the master bedroom. The sun is glaring but in the photo the weather seems to be gloomy. Too bad.

Enjoy =).
